Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter

The promoter of this competition is J M Morris Plant Hire Ltd ("the Promoter").

2. Eligibility

• The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.

• Employees of J M Morris Plant Hire Ltd, their immediate family members, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of this competition are not eligible to enter.

• By entering this competition, entrants confirm they are eligible to do so and are eligible to claim the prize.

3. Competition Period

• The competition opens at 11:00 on 3.07.26.

• Entries must be received by 00:00 on 07:07.26

• Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must:

• Follow J M Morris Plant Hire Ltd on the relevant social media platform.

• Like the competition post.

• Upload an original photograph featuring a J M Morris Plant Hire road sweeper working at Silverstone during the Formula One weekend.

• Tag J M Morris Plant Hire in the post and include the competition hashtag #MorrisNotNorris.

Only one entry per person will be considered unless otherwise stated.

There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary.

5. Photograph Requirements

Entrants confirm that:

• The photograph is their own original work.

• They own the copyright in the image.

• The image does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.

• Any identifiable individuals featured in the photograph have given permission for the image to be submitted where required.

The Promoter reserves the right to remove or disqualify any image considered offensive, unlawful, defamatory, inappropriate or otherwise unsuitable.

6. Judging

This is a skill-based photography competition.

The winning photograph will be selected by a judging panel appointed by J M Morris Plant Hire Ltd based on:

• Creativity

• Composition

• Overall visual impact

• How effectively the image captures the J M Morris Plant Hire road sweeper in action

The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Prize

The winner will receive:

Two (2) tickets to the 2027 British Grand Prix at Silverstone.

The prize:

• is non-transferable;

• cannot be exchanged for cash;

• is subject to availability; and

• excludes travel, accommodation, parking, food, drinks and any other expenses unless expressly stated otherwise.

Should circumstances outside the Promoter's control make the advertised prize unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

8. Winner Notification

The winner will be contacted via the social media account used to enter within 14 days of the competition closing.

If the winner does not respond within 7 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

The winner's name may be published on the Promoter's social media channels.

9. Image Licence

Copyright remains with the entrant.

However, by entering the competition, entrants grant J M Morris Plant Hire Ltd a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, publish, display, share and use submitted photographs for promotional, marketing and editorial purposes across its website, social media channels, printed marketing materials and other promotional media.

Where reasonably practicable, credit will be given to the photographer.

10. Liability

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:

• entries not successfully completed due to technical faults;

• lost, delayed or corrupted submissions;

• events beyond its reasonable control affecting the competition or prize.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Data Protection

Personal information supplied during the course of this competition will only be used for administering the competition and awarding the prize unless the entrant has separately consented to receive marketing communications.

Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation.

12. Social Media

This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn or Meta.

Entrants release Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Meta from any responsibility or liability relating to this competition.

13. Formula One and Silverstone

This competition is organised solely by J M Morris Plant Hire Ltd.

It is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Formula One, Formula One Management, Silverstone Circuits Ltd or any affiliated organisation.

All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

14. General

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms & Conditions or attempts to manipulate the competition.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
